Help with little pantry space

I was asked if I had any ideas to help organize the pantry. Well, if you could see mine you would say "WHO is she to tell me". The only advice I could give is - if you are a food stroage person, Dont store all of it where you go each day. Use a menu, then go to your food storage and use small baskets to fill what you need for that meal. Do it for a week at a time, Yes that is 7 small baskets. Put as much as you can for that meal in it and lable it. Sunday, meatloaf, Monday Tacos, use 3x5 cards slide into the basket where it is a little visable. Dont change your mind after making the menu. Now go to the fridge and use your shelves for the same purpose. Organizing each shelf the best you can. I would use the door shelves. store remaining food large shelves.
Big items like ceral and flour and sugar need to be where only you can reach them so children cant help themselve. Yes, they need to be independant but not when it comes to groceries.
This is the only idea I have. Anyone else have something better, I'm willing to try..
Good Luck.:)
