http://portablenorthpole.tv Ck this site out, it is way cool. I send a few videos to my grandkids. They are really cute and a bit personal but not bad.
Okay--that is seriously awesome! I did 2 of them and then sent the link to all my sisters! :) I can't wait for my 4 year old to see her video! I am a little iffy on my 8 year old--he seems to be "at that age" where I think he may know!--oh well it will be fun anyhow! THANKS!!!
Now that I am back, I need to give credit where credit is due. Don't you just love my header? My talented daughter ( I have 4) but this one wins the prize today.
Casie Jo is responsible for my darling header. She says what do I want, I say what ever but not to fallie. She was here yesterday while we were working on the roof and Bridger knew just what she would need.
Thank you so much for making me look so good.
Holidays are coming
As soon as I see the first frost I start to think of the holidays. This year Christmas will be different. More of that to come.
So it is time to give some well deserved attention to my sweet house. I love the website Grandplan for me. Itis a group I joined years ago. It gives you worksheets to print off and keep from year to year to see what you did, what worked and what did'nt so you don't make the same mistakes. I will try to work on the link.
Anyways: Today I am going to work on yard and chicken coop. And look at front porch and see what I can do to spruce it up. My front yard has been neglected all summer. Let's do something fun for fall.
Week # 3- Ready to Go
I need to let you know that week 1 I decided that I needed to paint some of the outside of my house. It was getting a bit weather worn. Well, (little pat on the back well deserved) My husband and I actually got it done this weekend. The house looks so much nicer. So onto week 3. It seems that after tackling the living room we need a bit of a break and most of us have small foyers. If you finish early go back and touch up where you may have not finished in the last two weeks. OR- start to think of the holidays. Halloween, Thanksgiving or even Christmas. Start to think and look in the closets for costumes, and while cleaning put up a few fall decorations. It will change or attitude and you will soon see that the seasons are changing and it is time to be ready to slow your pace down and enjoy our wonderful fall cooler days. Good luck let me know how your doing by leaving a comment. Just click on comment and type to your hearts content.
Week 2, is more demading but with a WOW facture
Week two is great, the kids are in school, you had a holiday on Monday and the weather has cooled down. Energy is flowing.. Print of week two put in an area you can see often. Take one or two items a day. I think you will find all of this can be done in one day if you tell your self - I can and will do this for ME!
Good luck and dont forget to come back and leave a comment your accomplishments.
Middle of week 1
I hope you have all enjoyed your clean new porch. If you are like me you have more than one entry into your home. Take the next 2 days and finish those. If you are done and feeling refreshed lets get ahead start on the next few things to do be done before the Holidays.. Take all the books from one book case, wipe them with a damp cloth. ARe there any you could donate to the schools or Charity of your choice. Now wipe the shelves. Do you need to repair any shelves or maybe the back. Wipe off the top and in the corners. Don't forget the outside. Use a bit of furniture polish and make it shine giving your treasures the place they deserve. Return the books and step back and enjoy a job that took you less than an hour to complete. Now as a treat to yourself maybe you have time to stop and read on of your treasures. See ya in a few days. Happy Blessing your home.
Day 1
I was very patient with myself and made sure my sweetie had had lunch, then I said come look at this with me and tell what you would do. He got the power washer did the whole face of the house. Helped with front door and even killed the weeds in the front flower bed to get ready for winter.( I plan on rocks in the front next spring). Then he told me to go buy some outdoor paint and we would start next week painting the outside eves. Cool huh. Now its up to me to make sure it get done. I will start make him made and he will finish. Cunning. Anyway I have accomplished all but the paint for this week. I even did a new wreath for the front. I think Iwill go now and clean last years wreath and put it on the front o the garage. What did you get done today?
Who's with me?
I have started a new Challenge and hope all will follow with me. Challenge me back and share what you accomplish. I have done this plan now for the past 2 years. It is not fail proof, but when it comes time to start hauling 14 boxes of Christmas upstairs, it is much easier to accomplish. Each week I will post assignments to be done for that week. Not all on the list will apply to your home but, most will. You still need to pick up each day and do daily tasks. This is to help you clean where you usually forget to touch. AND most tasks can be done in less than an hour. We spend that much time on the computer playing games. So come along with me and lets get done what 10 women will miss. I invite you to share your pictures, thoughts and ideas with us.
